East Sheen is a green and leafy mainly residential area, with its main high street being the Upper Richmond Road, which contains many high street shops and facilities. The close proximity to Sheen Gate of the vast Richmond Park means that houses in 'parkside' East Sheen are much in demand, and thus very expensive.
